Amelia's birthday dinner took place at our usual birthday dine-in, Wasabi with the gang and then it was back to our house for cake time. It was the first time Pete and I had people over for an event. The realization of home ownership really kicked in more when you have people over and we were at the top of our voices on a weekday evening! Minus the short interruptions by the Amherst Police Department (our taxpayers money at work!), about a neighbor on the next street calling in about someone who parked a construction vehicle and walking in between the houses into our street - we had a jolly great time.
