Since I have been.... travelling around a lot and on the quick move from place to place... this is what I have compiled for the time being. It's my last couple of days here and this means, last minute packing, shopping, the lots! :P

Western dinner at Eighteen
4th of July dinner at Eighteen located at Krystal Point. We decided on Western food for a mini Independence Day Celebration for Petey. The mushroom soup was extremely good, I like mine extra creamy and mushroomie with generous sprinkles of freshly cracked black pepper!
Mini Roundabout
This mini-roundabout on Terengganu Road has got to be the smallest roundabout / rotary on Penang island.
4th of July on Penang Hill
No backyard barbeques, pool dips or fireworks this 4th of July holiday. Instead... Dad, Grandma, Pete and I spent 4th of July morning at Penang Hill. I have not been on the cable car ride for quite some time now, even before the cable broke off and before all the updates and upgrades were carried out on the Penang Hill cable cars/center.
We know it English as Penang Hill, but in Malay, it is known as Bukit Bendera which literally translates to Flag Hill.
Going up... going down...
Ice kacang at 701.1M above sea level... priceless!!

Bukit Gedung Pasar Malam Fare...
For as long as I remember living in this house, there is a pasar malam every Monday night. The pasar malam or night market takes place on road right in front of my house. It's Pete's first pasar malam fare (we missed it the last time he was in Penang, since we were away) and I let him try some of my favorite local dishes.
pasar malam food...
Potato Samosas & Pasembor
Rose syrup with little frog's eyes looking seed... when you bite into them, they give a little crunch. As for the pasembor, I always make sure that mine consists of potatoes, 'taukua' (beancurd/firm tofu), shrimp/peanut fritters, hard boiled egg and squid.
Views of Georgetown...
Pete and I went with dad to the KOMTAR administrative buildings. Dad had errands to run.. and Pete and I were just tagging along... we were up on the 56th floor at Penang Tourism office and they had a magnificent view of Georgetown and the north-east side of the island.

Grand Aunt's 80th Brithday Dinner
We headed straight to my Grand Aunt's birthday dinner right from the airport after picking up Pete. Here are the pictures from the dinner.
