Week 37 - Ultrasound

Here she is... soundly sleeping through her final ultrasound session from this morning. Her measurement is on track and she is a little over 5 pounds at this point. We are reverting back to my original due date of August 22nd. I was measuring smaller during the earlier ultrasound... but it's all within the week +/-.

She has pretty much moved into position at -2 per my last obgyn appointment (last week). We will see what her progress in terms of position is at this week's appointment - I am going weekly now. Last appointment, the doctor said to start packing up my hospital bag and be on standby. Come tomorrow, I am at full term. Peter have been busy slowly setting up the nursery and I really gotta start laundering all of Emma's bedding, clothing, etc.

32 weeks Ultrasound

We had another ultrasound appointment this morning to see how Baby Milizia is measuring and where she positioned. She is at 40% growth - we are on super on track and she is presented head down already. Those bumps Peter and I feel on my right side of the belly is her feet! When she stretches her legs, it's been her foot/feet pushing out the bump on the side of my belly. Here are some 3D and 4D pictures from this morning's session.

Baby Shower - Part One

I have been slow updating pictures on my flickr account (I am one year behind and I vow to catch up on it on my maternity leave - we will see :P) These pictures were taken by Jessica from my Buffalo baby shower as a teaser until I fully upload and link them all to my flickr account. I cannot thank the amazing ladies in my life... Nicole, Jessica and Jennifer for organizing and hosting my baby shower. I had a lot of fun and thank you to the rest of the amazing women in my life who showered me and Baby Milizia on this special occasion!

{Pre-} Father's Day

My gift to Peter for this{pre-} Father's Day is nothing compared to what he got me. However, he has been wanting a decent pedometer/accelerometer for some time now and could not decide on one. On top of that, he likes listening to the radio or have music on while mowing the lawn - so this was the best I can come up - a 16G iPod Nano (yeap, another Apple product in our household).

Entertainment and staying fit

The second part to his gift would be the accessory to the iPod Nano watch attachment to help husband move around as he go for his jogs and does chores around the house .

Haircut

I have put off a haircut long enough... so finally... a shorter do for the summer and yes, shorter side swept bangs too :P Every time I come home with a new haircut... Peter would say "It's like being with a new woman!" Good thing this new woman is always me!

From the Panzica family

I came home to a big large box right outside our front door... Auntie Barbara and Uncle Dan bought Baby Milizia a 3-in-1 high chair which can grow with Baby Milizia. And now at every meal, thanks to the Panzicas, Baby Milizia will dine with us at the table or wherever she is comfortable with!

Week 30

Here I am as we are about to head out to my OBGYN appointment (this morning) - we just completed our monthly scheduled visits and now on to the two weeks appointments. Baby Milizia is measuring good, heart beat is at a healthy rate and she is moving around a lot.

10 more weeks to go!

From the Ferrara family

The Ferrara family surprised us with these three set of outfits for Baby Milizia. Charmaine and I go way back to our KDU College days back in Penang. She lives in Oregon now and Peter and I were so jealous since they were just back home in Penang. Peter is in love with the denim one with the words 'sweetie' on it. Thanks so much for thinking of us Charmaine, David, Jayden and Baby Boy#2!
